Started After One Bad Launch
Back in 2018, I watched a client's e-commerce site crash on their biggest sales day. They'd done everything right—except test how the system would handle actual traffic. That failure cost them over NT million in lost sales and damaged customer trust.
I'd been doing freelance development work around Taipei, but that incident changed my focus completely. Started reaching out to businesses with a simple offer: let me stress-test your systems before your customers do it for you.
What surprised me most was how many companies were running blind. They'd launch features, add integrations, update databases—all without knowing if their infrastructure could actually handle the load. Some didn't even have monitoring in place to see when things started degrading.
Seven years later, we've tested everything from financial platforms to logistics systems. The work is less exciting than it sounds—lots of data analysis, report writing, and explaining why that new feature needs different database indexing. But when a client tells us their Black Friday sale went smoothly because we caught their caching issues beforehand, that makes the late nights worth it.
